Eric received his secondary education at Cleveland St. High School, Sydney. He was Colour Sargeant in the Camden Senior Cadets and Staff Sargeant in the 5th Australian Light Horse Armidale Squadron.

Eric's mother's address was 'Erringhi' Camden. He was a Chorister of St. Johns Church. His occupation was Civil Servant when he enlisted at Camden in March 1915 and served in the 18th Battalion A.I.F. He departed Sydney on the 'Ceramic' 25 June 1915.

Lance Corporal Eric Lyndon LOWE was wounded from a gunshot to his left thigh on 22 August 1915 at Hill 60 Gallipoli. He died at King George Hospital, Stamford Street, London 10 Sep 1915 age 19.
